from Mr. Ferland:
Sorry, will not be able to attend the reunion--away for the weekend.
Lots of changes at HBHS--beautiful auditorium for concerts and shows; great
gym and a great new track facility; music program has two jazz bands and
a jazz chorus as well as guitar classes; music theory; and our choral teacher
Karen Sayward also teaches three dance classes. Have a great reunion!

Message from Mr. Manley:
Students and teachers impact each other in ways that create memories for a lifetime. Can it be true that it is really ten years since you have left HBHS? Things are quite different here now. We are in a new, much larger building with twice the number of students as were in attendance in 1993. I hope, however that the lessons and values that were imparted to the class of '93 continue to be taught to the class of '04. I think that this is the case, and I believe that HBHS continues to be a very special place for young adults to spend their formative years.
I am very grateful and honored that you would be thoughtful enough to invite me to your class reunion. Traditionally, I have used that weekend to visit family and I expect that to continue. But reunions are really about remembering all the wonderful times that you experienced as you changed from children to adults. Like high school itself, reunions are about the kids (now adults), not the teachers, anyway.
I wish you and all of your classmates well. I am certain that the joy and fun that you experienced in high school continues to this day in your separate lives. May the lessons learned at HBHS enrich your experiences for the rest of your life!
Best regards to all,
Rich Manley
